He was an intern at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and subsequently undertook a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kwak has received a large amount of advanced training in medical laser applications and has performed thousands of procedures to date at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kwak is past Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at UPenn, and past Director of both the Penn Presbyterian Vein Program and Interventional Radiology Division at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. In his work as a Philadelphia laser and lipo doctor, he has given numerous lectures both locally and nationally.
Seeking to further expand his role as a leading Philadelphia lipo doctor, Dr. Kwak established the independent LUMEN Laser Center in the popular Main Line region in 2006.
